Staff Profile

My name is Amanda King and I this is my 9th year of teaching here at Phillip Sharp Middle School.  I received a Bachelor of Arts degree specializing in middle grades education with a social studies and language arts emphasis from NKU.  I also have a Master of Arts degree in education with a teacher as a leader emphasis from NKU.  Currently, I am continuing my education at EKU in order to obtain a second Masters in library science.  Since I have been at Sharp, I have taught multiple grade levels and subjects.  For the past several years I taught 6th and 7th grade language arts, but this year I moved to 6th-8th social studies and am very excited about the change and am looking forward to new experiences this year.
